JOB SUMMARY

As a forklift operator, you’ll be working in our company’s production or shipping department. You’ll have to drive a forklift to move, locate, support, transport, store and count merchandise destined for or coming from production or distribution.

DAILY TASKS

  • Load and unload products, materials and components.
  • Deliver shipping orders to designated stations and locations.
  • Work closely with order pickers.
  • Ensure safe storage of products to prevent breakage of merchandise.
  • Ensure fair and accurate counts of inventory moved.
  • Completes control documents established by the company.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Keep work area clean.
  • Perform your job safely.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: High school level III;
  • Hold a forklift licence card and have the appropriate training;
  • Experience: at least 2 years of relevant shipping/receiving experience;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in French.
