JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations Excellence and Client Care, the Internal Sales and Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing a professional, no-pressure service to Metaltech customers. In addition to handling quotations and orders, this involves providing basic and technical information on our products and innovations, and resolving any situations our customers may encounter.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Answer customer calls: Provide prompt and courteous assistance to Metaltech call center customers.
- Answer technical questions: Provide detailed and accurate information about Metaltech products.
- Listening to the customer: Be attentive to customer needs and effectively resolve situations.
- Order Entry: Enter orders received via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), email and telephone.
- Quotations: Prepare Metaltech quotes and support Metaltech manufacturing agents.
- Complaints handling: Handle customer complaints with professionalism and find satisfactory solutions.
- Returns Management: Process merchandise returns (RMA) with thoroughness and efficiency.
- Special Projects: Be involved in special projects such as custom-made products and others.
- Any other related duties established by his superior.
REQUIREMENTS, QUALITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Experience: Minimum three years’ experience in office work or customer service.
- Education: Attestation of Vocational Studies (AVS) or College Studies (ACS) in customer service or related field. Any combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Listening to the customer.
- Ability to adapt and learn.
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written, to deal with clients throughout North America.
- Organizational and analytical skills.
- Team spirit, collaboration.
- Affinity for numbers and ability to do basic calculations.
- Thoroughness.
- Proficiency in Office suite tools.
