JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Corporate Videographer will be responsible for designing, producing and delivering clear, effective and business-oriented video content on several platforms (web and social media) for companies in the Omega II group (MetaltechOmega, Échafauds Plus, Action Scaffold). The position is part of both a field-based and corporate environment, primarily related to the construction industry and technical products

Using videography and creative writing, he or she will develop quality material to inform and engage our various target audiences (employees/distributors/consumers).

The creation of video content will cover a variety of topics, ranging from product specifications to installation/usage instructions, to the creation of content for the employer brand.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, shoot and edit high-quality professional videos that meet corporate, technical and promotional needs (assembly, product promotion, corporate, tutorials, employer branding, etc.).
  • Develop visual and narrative concepts tailored to digital platforms, target audience, and trends to maximize engagement.
  • Prepare and carry out filming: scriptwriting, location scouting, logistics, filming (including the operation of a light drone).
  • Maintain visual and brand consistency across all product content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing/graphics team and manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to final delivery.

 

REQUIREMENTS, QUALITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Minimum of five years of experience in video shooting and editing, ideally in a corporate or industrial context, with a mandatory portfolio attached to your application.
  • Interest in creating video content related to the construction industry and ability to adapt to different filming environments.
  • Ability to operate and shoot using a light drone.
  • Mastery of recording techniques: video, sound, camera, lighting.
  • Ability to adapt video concepts to different corporate digital platforms, market trends and business objectives.
  • Directing skills: complete organization of shoots (casting, locations, logistics).
  • Excellent scriptwriting and workflow management skills.
  • Autonomy, proactivity, attention to detail and good project management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the teams involved and to evolve in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Advanced bilingualism (French and English, oral and written). English is required to create video content for clients and employees outside of Quebec.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Photoshop and good knowledge of MS Office and Mac OS tools.

 

About the team

You will work closely with the marketing team as well as with the graphic department, which is made up of a dozen creative professionals. They will support you in the organization of shoots and in the development of impactful video concepts consistent with our objectives.
